Originated from Dr. Ling Luo's dissertation research, "Empowering Asian American Women Leaders in Civic Engagement: The Role of Inclusive Leadership Behaviors." While the model emerged from civic leadership research, its broader value is in helping organizations strengthen inclusive leadership, stakeholder engagement, belonging, shared influence, and leadership development across sectors.
